Montessori Primary Program

3- to 5-Year-Old Children

For children aged 3 to 5, the Montessori Primary program provides a unique mixed-age classroom atmosphere. Individual learning experiences and one-on-one interactions, which are central to the Montessori Method, take place here.

As children grow older, they begin to see things that adults consider common as fascinating and unique. Sorting, spooning, and folding garments are examples of practical life exercises that completely absorb kids.

We recognize this as the beginning of mind-body control and coordination. That is why Montessori education emphasizes tangible, hands-on experiences.

Concrete materials are used to teach math; movable alphabet letters are used to explore language; and cubes, cylinders, and other objects are used to categorize, find spatial relationships, and more. Practical learning experiences cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Science and Nature
  • Music and Movement
  • Sensorial
  • Cooking and Nutrition
  • Cultural Awareness
  • History
  • Geography
  • Language Arts
  • Mathematics

Children are learning independence, confidence, and innovation as a result of this process.
